On October 10, 2021, the Ministry of Transport issued temporary regulations on piloting the organization of road passenger transport activities to ensure safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic. .

Regulations of the Ministry of Transport apply to passenger transport by road nationwide, piloted from October 13, 2021 to the end of October 20, 2021. After a period of implementation, the Ministry of Transport will evaluate and adjust and supplement to suit the reality of the next stage.

Regarding the pilot operation plan, the Ministry of Transport requires a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 30% of the units' trips in 7 days according to the volume approved by the Department of Transport. (number of trips/month) and with space spacing on the vehicle (does not apply to  sleeper bus).

The Ministry of Transport requires for passengers traveling from a very high-risk, high-risk locality/area to a locality/area of ​​equal or lower risk to receive a full dose of COVID-19 vaccine  (green card on Electronic Health Book/PC-COVID or certificate of full dose of vaccine issued by competent authority, last dose given at least 14 days) or overcom COVID-19 within 6 months since returning to the locality (with a hospital discharge certificate / certificate of recovery from COVID-19).

Concurrently, passengers must have SARS-CoV-2 test results by RT-PCR method or negative antigen rapid test within 72 hours before boarding. In addition to“5K Message”; it must be declaring "medical" according to the Ministry of Health's regulations (do not join the trip when having symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat).

At the end of the trip, passengers must self-monitor their health or carry out isolation at the place of residence or stay in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health and each locality on prevention and controling measures to COVID-19 since returning to the locality; comply with the “5K Message”.

In case passengers who are not eligible for vaccination as prescribed by the Ministry of Health, when traveling with their relatives on the bus, they must fully meet the regulations for passengers in this regulation.
