Ngày 18/10/2021, Văn phòng Chính phủ đã ban hành Thông báo 270/TB-VPCP kết luận tại cuộc họp về dự thảo Nghị quyết một số chính sách hỗ trợ phụ nữ và trẻ em gặp khó khăn do Covid-19. On October 18, 2021, the Government Office issued Notice 270/TB-VPCP concluding at the meeting on the draft resolution on a number of policies to support women and children facing difficulties due to Covid-19.

The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs for coordinating with the Vietnam Women's Union and relevant ministries and sectors to quickly draft the Government's Resolution on a number of policies to support women suffered from COVID-19 pandemic.

 The Deputy Prime Minister agreed to submit to the Government for promulgation a Resolution on a number of policies to support women and children post COVID-19 pandemic:

- Supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers from the Gratitude Fund;

- Supporting orphans whose parents died from COVID-19 infection from the social mobilization source of the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund;

- Support women infected with COVID-19 who are pregnant or giving birth and staff with professional medical professional titles, other professional titles working in the health industry and female medical students who are on duty. continue to participate in the prevention and control of COVID-19 from the central budget reserve.

In addition, in terms of policies to support individuals and households facing difficulties in life due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, returning to their hometown to live and reside are entitled to preferential loans for production and business. The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Bank for Social Policies and relevant agencies to study and report to the competent authorities for consideration and decision.
