Ho Chi Minh City: People need green card

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued criteria for COVID-19 prevention and control at production and business establishments such as traditional markets, wholesale markets, production and business enterprises, and service enterprises.

Based on the sets of criteria issued together with Decision 3328, Ho Chi Minh City currently has two types of Green Cards: Covid Green Card and Covid Green Card with limited scope of activities. Specifically:

1. At supermarkets, commercial centers, mini supermarkets, convenience stores

- Employees (staff at management unit, traders, regular employees at the unit, delivery staff, assistants,...) and customers (shoppers, suppliers and people) to business contacts,...) must meet the following conditions:

+ Customers; department in direct contact with customers (staff in charge of counters, cashiers...): must have a "COVID  vaccine passport". The rest of the parts: at least have a “COVID vaccine passport (limited activities)”.

+ Personnel returning to work for the first time: must have a valid negative SARS-CoV-2 test result (rapid test or RT-PCR) according to the regulations of the health sector.

+ Drivers, delivery staff of goods suppliers: have a "COVID Green Card", which contains a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result (rapid test or RT-PCR) valid according to regulations of the health sector before entering work.

2. At traditional market

- The market management board has a list of traders and people working at the market. Employees (market management unit employees, traders, regular workers at the unit, delivery staff, assistants,...) and customers (shoppers, suppliers and people) to business contacts,...) must meet the following conditions:

+ Customers and people in direct contact with customers (market management unit employees, traders, regular workers at driver units, delivery staff, assistants...): must have “COVID vaccine passport”.

+ Employees of the management unit in the office block who do not have direct contact with customers: at least have a "COVID vaccine passport (limited activities)".

3.  At wholesales market

- The market management company has a list of traders and employees working at the market. Employees (market management unit employees, traders, regular workers at the unit, delivery staff, assistants,...) and customers (shoppers, suppliers and people) to business contacts,...) must meet the following conditions:

+ People entering and exiting the market must have at least a “COVID vaccine passport (limited scope of operation)”.

+ Particularly for departments that have direct transactions with many people entering and exiting the market: must have a “COVID vaccine passport”

4. At production facilities

- Employees participating in production must meet the following conditions:

+ Be a holder of a “COVID vaccine passport” or a “COVID vaccine passport (limited activity)”.

+ Have a test for SARS-CoV-2 (rapid test or RT-PCR) before entering work.

5. At the offices of production, business and service providers

- Employees must meet the following conditions:

+ Department in direct contact with outsiders: must have a “COVID vaccine passport”. The rest of the parts: at least have a “COVID vaccine passport (limited activities)”.

+ Personnel returning to work for the first time: at least have a "COVID vaccine passport (limited scope of activity)" and have negative SARS-CoV-2 test results (rapid test or RT-PCR) according to regulations regulations of the health sector.
