6% increase in regional minimum wages by July 1, 2022

Pursuant to Clause 4, Article 91 of the Labor Code 2019, the regional minimum wage will be decided by the Government and announced on the basis of recommendations of the National Wage Council.

The morning, April 12, 2022, after finishing 02 discussion sessions on increasing the regional minimum wage for employees in enterprises, the National Wage Council has finalized the plan to increase the minimum wage from January 1. 7/2022 with an average increase of 6% and report to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.

The Government has agreed to the plan to increase the regional minimum wages proposed by the National Wage Council and issued Decree 38/2022/ND-CP stipulating the new regional minimum wages as follows:
