In case you borrow your car to rob property, will the car owner be responsible for anything? This is also a question that many people ask.

Vehicles used as means of robbery are identified as exhibits related to crime and can be confiscated. According to Article 47 of the Penal Code on confiscation of objects and money directly related to specific crimes as follows:

2. For objects and money that are illegally appropriated or used by offenders, they shall not be confiscated but returned to their lawful owners or managers.

3. Objects and money are the property of another. If this person is at fault in allowing the offender to use it in the commission of a crime, it may be confiscated.

Based on the above provisions, if the car lender proves that he does not know the purpose of borrowing the car to rob, the car in this case will not be confiscated.

On the contrary, if you know the purpose of borrowing a car to rob but still lend it, the car may be confiscated and the lender will also be criminally responsible for the act.
