Ministry of Health revokes documents of 12 traditional drugs to treat Covid-19

Regarding the information on Official Dispatch No. 5944/BYT-YHCT of the Ministry of Health on "Strengthening the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic with traditional drugs and herbal products" issued by the Ministry of Health on 24- 7-2021 is attracting public attention.

Previously, in Official Letter No. 5944/BYT-YDCT, the Ministry of Health listed the list of traditional medicines and herbal products to support the treatment of Covid-19 including:

- Ngoc Binh Phong Gia Xuyen Tam Lien (Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ministry of Public Security);

- Kovir capsules (Star Thai Duong Joint Stock Company);

- White ground root (Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ministry of Public Security);

- Sore throat syrup (Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ministry of Public Security);

- Tonic yin syrup (Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ministry of Public Security);

- Ngan Kieu syrup (Military Institute of Traditional Medicine - Ministry of Defense);

- Hanh To (Central Traditional Medicine Hospital);

- Protecting gas (Military Institute of Traditional Medicine - Ministry of National Defense);

- Hoat Nhat Nhat (Nhat Nhat Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.);

- Imboot;

- Radial inter-center;

- Nasagast - KG.

However, after the official letter No. 5944/BYT-YHCT was issued, some information was received reflecting about some inappropriate, misleading, dangerous contents of hoarding and raising the price that affects epidemic prevention and people's psychology, the Ministry of Health revoked this Official Letter.
