03 ways to register for electronic transactions with tax authorities

On March 18, 2021, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 19/2021/TT-BTC guiding electronic transactions in the tax field.

Accordingly, taxpayers register for electronic transactions with tax authorities through the following ways:

- Method 1: Register for an electronic tax transaction account with the tax authority via the website of the General Department of Taxation.

- Method 2: Register transactions with tax authorities electronically through the portal of the competent state agency connected to the portal of the General Department of Taxation, including:

+ National public service portal and electronic portal of the Ministry of Finance;

+ Portals of other competent state agencies.

Option 3: Register transactions with tax authorities electronically through the T-VAN service provider.

Circular 19/2021/TT-BTC  takes effect from May 3, 2021.
