Drunk cyclists must be fined as motorcyclists

Decree 100/2019/NĐ-CP has added a clause in which the cyclists, bicyclists, electric bicycle riders are blown alcohol as motorcyclists and drivers.

Specifically, Article 8 of Decree 100/2019/NĐ-CP has pointed out the fines for cyclists, motorcyclists (even electricbiker), persons who drive rudimentary vehicles violating road traffic rules as follows:

A fine from 80 thousand vnd to 100 thousand vnd to the drivers whose blood alcohol content is not greater than 50 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood or not greater than 0.25 miligam of alcohol in 1 litter of blood.

 A fine from 200 to 300 thousand vnd to the drives whose blood alcohol content is greater than 50 mg of alcohol to 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood or greater than 0.25 miligam of alcohol to 0.4 mg of alcohol in 1 litter of blood.

 A fine from 400 to 600 thousand vnd to the drives whose blood alcohol content is greater than 80 mg of alcohol  in 100 ml of blood or greater than 0.4 mg of alcohol in 1 litter of blood.

In contrast to the previous Decree, Decree No. 46/2016/NĐ-CP doent have this regulation. This is a new regulation supplimented in Decree No.100/2019/NĐ-CP
