Liquor stores don't give a notice not selling to people under the age of 18 fined

Since September 9, 2020, The government has issued the Decree Nghị định 117/2020/NĐ-CP about regulations on administrative sanctions in the healthcare sector with many significant points.

Specifically, Article 31, Decree 117/2020/NĐ-CP has decided that the fine will be from 1 million VND to 3 million VND in the below cases:

 a) Selling, supplying wine and beer for people under the age of 18.

b) Not giving a notice on the wall about not selling beer and wine for the people under the age of 18 at the good place to see.

As such, liquor stores must have a notice for the peolple under 18 at the good place to see. If not, they will be fined based on the regulations at Decree 117.

Moreover, opening pubs near the schools or  hospitalss will be fined from 3 million to 5 million based on  Article 31, clause 2 of Decree 117/2020/NĐ-CP:

a) Selling wine and beer at liquor stores at in accordance with the regulation of law.

b) Opening new liquor stores that serve at selling places within 100 meters of radius from the campus of Health facilities, kindergartens, nursery schools, preschool,   primary school, secondary school and high school.

Thus, in any cases that anyone opens new liquor stores near hospitals, preschool, kindergarten, nursery school, primary school, secondary school or high school, they will be fined up to 20 million VND (if that new pub is an organization). Moreover, their Business Registration Certificate will be withdrawn up to 3 months.

This Decree will be valid by November 15, 2020.
